FORD FAN SPOTLIGHT

Keyla Ramey of Key Largo, FL, Gets Her Shelby-Fan
Husband, Jonathan, Some Much-Deserved Recognition
If you're sharing involvement in the Ford performance vehicle hobby with your "significant other," then we think you'll enjoy the following note that we received from Keyla Ramey of Key Largo, FL:

"My husband, Jonathan Ramey, has owned many fords in his life, including a 1956 T-Bird, '69 Fairlane Cobra, '65 Mustang, '67 Shelby GT500, '96 Mustang, a Factory Five Daytona Coupe (with a Roush 351C), and a '07 Shelby GT/SC – the first supercharged GT delivered by Shelby American. Jonathan has drag raced his Fairlane and GT500 extensively, and will be taking his '07 Shelby GT/SC to a road course this year. We are always looking for car shows to attend, and my husband is teaching me the finer points of caring for our '07 Shelby (I kid him that he takes better care of that car than he does of me!) Jonathan reads Fast News from Ford Racing every week, and especially likes the "Ford Fan Spotlight" section. He's never been in any article or magazine column, so I'd appreciate it if you could put him in your Spotlight for being such a loyal Ford fan!"

Done deal, Keyla! If you Fast News readers know of other Ford fans like Jonathan Ramey, send info (and hometown) plus a couple of photos (or a link to a YouTube video) to: AskTFR@Ford.com. Then check Fast News each week to see who we'll pick to bask in the glow of Ford Racing's "Ford Fan Spotlight!"

The yearlong tour's first stop was at the Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction in Scottsdale, AZ, before moving on to the Boca Raton (FL) Concours D'Elegance Feb. 24-26, then anchoring a big Shelby American 50th Celebration weekend in Las Vegas March 14-17.
