The Street Triple “R” was introduced to the world press last week on the famous Isle of Man TT course.  Motojournalists from more than sixteen countries converged on the tiny island in the Irish Sea in order to ride the all new Street Triple R.  Featuring fully adjustable suspension, radial brakes and a choice of two brand new matte finished paint schemes, the Street Triple R is the right bike for a rider who demands perfection. The new Street Triple “R” available in matte Orange or matte Graphite will be available in North American dealerships in the next few months!  It might be a good idea to visit your local dealer and make arrangements to be first on their list! Matt Capri Breaks World Record!

South Bay Triumph set a new land speed record on a prototype Triumph Bonneville Fuel-Injected Turbo. Matt Capri, president of South Bay Triumph qualified on his maiden trip down the salt at a speed of 168.927, using very low boost. Feeling old school cool in the Biggest State in the Union

The  November  2008 edition of  Ride Texas Magazine features the Scrambler on the front cover.   Gene McCalmont channels the spirit of the legendary TR6C Desert Sled as he tests the new Scrambler.  Could a self proclaimed retro purist truly be happy on a modern motorcycle?   The feature article is a great read for anyone who can appreciate the "signature Triumph sound and the go-anywhere look of adventure"

Express Yourself

Last month we asked you which style of R3Touring you liked better.  Did people choose the bike set up for serious touring?  Or maybe they preferred the sportier version?  It was a close vote with the sporty version just beating out the touring version by a slim margin of 8%.  Triumph carries over 100 genuine accessories that can transform your R3T into your ultimate motorcycle.
