One of the fastest growing segments of our market is women riders.  Currently they grab about 12% of the riding public.  That’s up 2 percentage points from just a couple of years ago.  One of the largest organizations catering to this group of motorcycle riders is Femmoto.  Femmoto is an all women's demo day on the track that has been meeting every year since 2002 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  This year the BMW Demo Team was on hand to provide on-track demo rides on a complete range of BMW bikes to over 600 attendees at the 2008 Femmoto event.

This is the most popular women only track day event in the country and BMW is proud to be a part of it.  To welcome more women to our sport BMW has been working hard to help overcome a common challenge that many women riders face, the seat height.  We are very happy to report that now many of our bikes come with a low ride height option.  We have been offering lower seat options for several years, but now we are providing a complete lowered ride height, which includes a combination of lowered suspension and seat to give motorcyclists ride heights as low as 29."
