It's that time of year again, to let mom know how great she is. You will decorate & paint a jewelry box for mom's beautiful trinkets.

Kids are invited to play with clay to create fun & unique works of art! Students will explore methods of creating clay pieces and learn how to use paints, stains, slips and glazes.

All young artists… Do you like to paint, sculpt or do crafts? Every week you will create and learn something new and exciting.

Just because this is your basic drawing class, it doesn't mean that you can't have fun learning to draw. You will sample various drawing and painting techniques with different mediums.

Get ready for another spectacular summer full of friends, fun, sun and surprises! The City of Casselberry's Summer Camp will be held at Lyman High School. Participants will enjoy weekly themes, arts and crafts, sports, games, swim times, songs, skits and field trips. Campers should be dressed appropriately; this includes wearing close toed shoes. Campers will need to bring a lunch and 2 snacks each day.

Summer will sizzle with excitement at the Casselberry Art House, with the “Art Academy 2009” Summer Camp. Children will learn exciting techniques in sculpting, painting, printmaking, bookmaking, weaving, ceramics, drawing and creating a wide variety of other works of art. Classes are taught by certified art educators in Seminole County and each week session will be a different art experience. Sign up for a weekly session or sign up for the entire summer. In this introduction to ballet, children will develop basic skills such as demi plie, tendu, ballet skips, walks and runs. Classes will include a short warm-up with gentle stretching, learning to take turns across the floor, developing balance and rhythm, and encouraging creativity through imaginative exercises.

Dancers will work on learning good dance posture, learning and recognizing vocabulary, and developing the elementary skills of ballet and tap.    

Beginner Ballet is an introduction to basic ballet technique through barre work, center, and across the floor combinations. This class emphasizes proper posture, musical awareness and coordination.  

Besides being a fun way to express your self, Irish dancing is a great way to exercise. Develop lasting friendships with fellow students as you develop body control and coordination. Increase poise, confidence and self-esteem.
